Edison Originals

This recording is from a disk released in 1957 to commemorate the 78^th anniversary of the invention of sound recordings by Thomas A Edison. This disk was released by the McGraw Edison company consists of six operatic pieces that were originally recorded on large format brown wax cylinders in 1910 and 1911. The large format “Concert” cylinders are very rare today and we wanted to make these available to a larger audience.
