Here's a preset for a seriously degraded cassette transfer.
It's for DC8 multifilters.
Developed with what appeared to be a 4-5 generation copy, but sounded even worse than that. It's a starting point, so expect to change the parameters for whatever sound you are looking for. This one adds harmonics and brings the sound out of the bassy "mud" to help establish some clarity in the instruments, putting the snap back into drums and letting you hear cymbals that were almost completely gone.
