It is not unusual to be asked what the impact of the coaxial cable impact will be on audio signal quality. The typical values for audio coaxial cables is in the range 20 to 30 pF/foot. For typical audio low impedance driving point impedance, this will have no audible effect on the sound quality so long as the length of the cable is under 10 feet and the source impedance is 600 Ohms or less. This effectively forms a high-pass filter the corner frequency being above the top-end of human hearing.
