  • working from CD-R files?

Obtain a copy of some "CD Ripping" software. I understand that this can be obtained on the internet from many sources. This will allow you to "rip" the red book audio off of the CD converting it to .wav files. That is the file format that Diamond Cut software works with. Then you process the .wav files and if you like, re-burn the CD using the software that comes with your computers CD ROM burner (assuming that you have one.)

    working from CD-R files?

I have an audio CD burner on my stereo setup. I was hoping to burn to that from vinyl and then run that sound file through Diamond Cut. But Diamond Cut doesn't seem to be able to accept that kind of file. Is there a way to make it work?
