Hello, new to the forum. If you are like me you love Old Time Radio Shows most of them are in the public domain, you can find them at archive.org.There is a group called Old Time Radio Researchers, in my opinion, puts out the best-restored programs.
Now to my problem There is an OTR program called "Frankenstein" that is in terrible shape, see https://archive.org/details/Frankens...eRadioClassics this was put up in 2010 and the other two tried to improve on it but failed. See https://archive.org/details/Frankenstein_201606/ put up in 2016 and https://archive.org/details/frankens...nster-returns/ put up in 2021.
It is my understanding that the show came out on the radio around 1931, so I am guessing that it was on 78 recordings, then it may have been transferred to reel-to-reel at some time, and somewhere along the way, it went digital at low quality. It seems to be dragging at the start of the shows, maybe the tape got stretched? and then there are all the clicks throughout. I got to be honest I have no idea where to start repairing it.
I havex xx(Demo), and yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy), which has zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. And now I am looking at "Diamond Cut Audio Restoration Tools ver 10.8", if it can do the job then I will stop paying for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
