    Group,

I should know the answer, but I don't....

How do I filter a part of a music file and leave the rest not filtered ?

Well, there are two ways to do it. The easiest way is to put the system in Fast Edit mode. Then, highlight the area of the file that you want to filter or modify. Run the filter or effect and then only the highlighted sector will be modified by said filter or effect. The Classic Edit mode involves cloning the source file into the destination. Then, putting the system in sync mode. Then, highlighting the area in the source that you want to selectively filter and run the filter on said sector and the result will be a modification of the cloned file in the destination. You can see why I prefer to do that in FE mode.

The "Clone Source" command is found under the File Menu.
