"Autoo save default..." setting doesn't stick

Here's a problem I've noticed in v10. I go to preferences, and un-check the "Auto save default filter preset" option. It works for the current session, but when I exit and re-run the program, the box is once again checked. There's no way to get the setting to stay un-checked.
