noise reduction in dcart millennium

I have a dcart millennium 4.80 and I notice when I apply noise reduction in a file The amount of noise eliminated is not equal for left and right channel. Anyone notice that?

The system applies noise reduction equally to both channels. However, if one channel is recorded lower in level than the other, there will be a difference in the noise reduction if you are using the CNF or the Impulse Filter. Make sure that both channels are balanced. If not, correct this problem first using the file conversion feature which has a left and right volume control associated with it.
