hi i am a newbie and not too puter savie but learning. when i paste interpolate a loud pop, do i have to save after each removal? or do you find and remove each pop and then save the finish file? twice now i have turned the file into the short highlighted part i was working in and have lost the compleat file.

You do not need to save after each paste interpolate. This function acts directly on the wavefile. If you do not like what you have done, you can undo it (or them) using the "undo" function found under the edit menu.
