They are similar, but the performance has been improved in both of those filters by DC7 and then followed by DC8. Your results will be the best with the DC8 version. You can try the DC8 demo to hear the difference by downloading the demo from our website located at www.diamondcut.com.

As said, the latest DC tools have many improvements and knowing how much Craig and Rick like to "keep improving things" I would always want to use the latest.
