The most frequently asked Diamond Cut support question is this:
"What is my User Name?"
This question arises after a hard drive fails and/or a new system is purchased or the hard drive is replaced. Our customers usually know their Serial Number, but they do not know their exact User Name.
As a security matter, we do not provide that information automatically over the internet. Finding out your User Name requires a specific inquiry to us via email and a human being enters into the loop to search the Diamond Cut secure server to match your Serial Number with your User Name, and thus, your registration code. This process generally takes 24 hours to complete after the inquiry.
A way to avoid this delay is to record your User Name along with your Serial Number and Registration code somewhere in hard - copy format. An easy way to do that is to goto the Help/About DCArt screen. Print that screen and you will have that information should your system fail in the future.
I hope that this suggestion is useful.
