Vocal Removal (attenuation) with version 8

Questions have arisen regarding vocal removal from musical compositions using DC8 and/or Forensics8. First, it must be noted that no software program can completely remove a lead vocal from a recording. However, the Diamond Cut Channel Blender has 4 presets that can attenuate lead vocals on Stereo recordings called "Lead Vocal Attenuator 1 through Lead Vocal Attenuator 4".

Experiment with these presets to see what one produces the best results in your particular situation. Then, fine tune the parameters for the best results. Again, and put another way, this will not work on monophonic recordings.
