Not sure if I'm using it correctly.
I've run it multiple times on a 24/44 wav file made from an old, highly worn & damaged lp, peak recording level was -30db, here are the results:
Gain-scaled to -6db
After impulse cleaning, cnf, and sound enhancement, ran once @ -6db, 56 total clips fixed.
Then gain-scaled the "finished" wav file to -1.7db & ran the de-clipper three times 1)11,716 clips fixed 2)10,292 clips fixed, 3)9,058 clips fixed.
Stopped at this point as I don't know what these readings indicate....it does seem to have improved the sound.
Settingsigital Wavefile De-clipper preset, Threshold 46, Slope 0, Strength=3, Adjust strength not checked.
