I haven't seen this done, if so, sorry for the repeat.
I have used the EZ Enhancer to "spice up" acoustical recordings. The effect is really good at restoring the missing high frequencies, but, the surface noise gets amplified also. I tried adding the continuous noise filter AFTER the EZ Enhancer and it works really good at removing the added surface noise that was "pumped up" by the EZ Enhancer. The best result was :
1. Usual CNF for original recording with noise signature from original.
2. EZ Enhancer
3. Another CNF using the new noise signature after the EZ Enhancer changed the noise.
This double on the CNF worked good since the surface noise was different each time.
