Temp Files

I was recently nosing around and came across the temp files folder. It was 62gigs in size. Is there any reason to retain these files after a job is completed, assuming that I have saved everything onto HD in work file folders?

When I complete a project, I get rid of the .temp files. I use the "delete all temp files command found under the edit menu. I really can not think of a strong reason to keep them around after a projects completion, so long as you have good history files of your work-product.
