I want to highly recommend the use of Craig's Concoction. I have used it for over ten years and cleaned thousands of records with it. The stuff works great!!! Easy to mix a gallon and that gallon will last a very long time,
          Thanks Craig

We are glad to hear that you like it. I have made a slight tweek to it as can be seen on our AN-16. That can be found here:

            http://diamondcut.com/AppNotes/AN-16...lation%202.pdf

Many people have reported that they like it because of its low cost and decent performance.

Understanding a large variety of confusing specifications is one of the most challenging aspects of selecting a new Most Powerful Canister Vacuum. May this topic will be helpful for everyone, thanks alot for this.

Though I'd add my 2 cents - I've been using Craig's concoction for many years as well, although my fluid must be the earlier version as it's just a bit sudsie - but it works great with the machine I'm using - a ProJect VC-S ($500). I liked it better than the NittyGritty because fluid application is on the top allowing you to soak the grooves in a bath if necessary. Scrubbing is by hand but you can see the progress, & it makes little mess if you're careful. Vacuum is powerful & leaves the vinyl squeaky clean. Large reservoir so it doesn't need to be emptied so often.

The refined version of the record cleaning solution referred to as "Craig's Concoction" here on the forum can be downloaded in .pdf from this link:

It is a slight modification of the original, is just as effective and is less sudsie.
