Vista and DC6

I noticed a thread mentioning that DC7 was designed for Vista. I have a new PC with Vista and loaded DC6. It works well in each sense except recording. It won't pull sound from the motherboard (onboard sound) as my other 2 machines with XP PRO do. Is this persnickity to Vista or am I missing something. They both show primary sound driver on the Sound Card in Preferences. I will be moving up to DC7 but wonder if this problem will continue on this machine......Thanks.....Brian

Forget the above post.....Perhaps I should put my glasses on before I look at the wiring!!!!
