Odd AND Even on the Harmonic Reject Filter

If there is ever a time when it is desirable to reject odd and even harmonics, and you (like me) are too lazy to open the multi-filter, try this:

Cut your fundamental frequency in half and select even.

Voila... if you are working with 60Hz as a funamental, drop it to 30 and then you wil be rejecting 60, 120, 180, etc. You will of course be rejecting 30Hz as well, but that shouldn't upset anyone.

That is a good tip. But, if you want to preserve 30 Hz (pipe organs can produce a note close to that (actually around 32 Hz )), then you can also set up two Harmonic Reject Filters in the Multifilter with one set for your "odds" and the other set for your "evens".

I guess if you choose "Odd" then you would get 30, 90, 150, 210, etc. I guess that situation also can happen on occasion if the time domain waveform is asymetrical.
