WAV files skip?

That is one of the trickiest things about sound cards; what drivers do they support? Many manufacturers are not very good about clearly stating in their sales brochures or on the box if they offer true WDM support. It is often a hit and miss situation.

I still think it is crazy that a person has to contact tech support to allow full WDM support from a sound card.

I think the industry needs to some self-policing and clean up the mess that the sound card area is now in. If nothing else, mandate that the manufacturers CLEARLY state what drivers they support.

We are very fortunate to have great tech support from DiamondCut Productions. Other manufacturers are not always so quick to respond
