DC-6 cannot find my directx plug-ins

DC-6 cannot find my directx plug-ins. I installed some but DC-6 has a blank list still. Do I need to copy the plug-ins to some other folder and which ones and how? Thanks.

DC6 should pick up all of the installed plugin. The installation directory is not important because these are installed in the registry. Have you tried re-booting?
You do have to click on the + (plus sign) in the directX plugin filter to see the list of plugins. Have you done that? There is usually a bunch of stuff installed.

Thanks. I just tried it again and it worked. I guess I tried all the selections except the +. When I pressed the + another window popped up with the dxs I just installed plus some others from other applications. Thanks. There is no clear instruction in the help file. I did look it up in the hard copy manual and found it there. Maybe I did press the + button before but I hadn't powered down the computer yet. Whatever happened, anyway it is working now and THANKS.
