This is to clarify a matter of confusion pertaining to the CD Prep menu editing functions and their use in Classic Edit Mode. These functions have only been written to properly work in conjunction with the Source Window in Classic Edit Mode. They are not (and never have been) designed to work in the Destination Window. Of course, in Fast Edit mode, all of the CD Prep functions work as expected.
There is a bug, however when operating in Classic Edit mode and attempting to use CD Prep functions in the Destination Window, The bug has probably been there for 20 years and went un-noticed until now. We have never "trapped" attempted use of the CD Prep functions when a user tries to use those functions in the Destination Window. We should have displayed an appropriate error message under that condition. We are working on fixing this bug by informing the user to perform CD Prep functions in the Source Window (or to switch to Fast Edit mode) when they attempt to use the Destination Window.
