Location: Northern NJ
Description: Crown International Tape Deck tape head assembly, including two heads (one is mounted on the assembly and the other is separated). The heads are not original Crown heads, but new replacement heads that I adapted to the assembly. I would guess that the date of this assembly is circa 1955 and the tape deck was obtained from a radio station that went out of business. The original heads were faulty (worn down to the extent that their gaps had widened, so they could not be lapped). I replaced the heads with new ones when I was using this machine, but it was only used for a very short period of time, and they have almost no wear (heads have no discernable wear and good continuity). The head configuration is 2 x 1/4 track.
Price: $39.95 plus Shipping (weighs about 20 ounces)
