Description: The Owl 1 audio preamplifier is designed for monophonic record transfers of 78 lateral and 80 RPM hill and dale records. It can also be used with Pathe' and cylinders. It includes the following features: Mode Switch (choose between L, R, Mono (L+R) or Vertical (L-R). Input selector switch, Equalization including variable Turnover and Rolloff settings. It also has two filters, rumble and HF (which is actually a variable frequency, wide - width Notch filter). The Turnover control includes the following settings:
Flat, 250 Hz, 375 Hz, 500 Hz, 750 Hz, 1000 Hz and RIAA.
The Rolloff control includes the following attenuation settings (@ 10 kHz):
Flat, -5 dB, -8.5 dB, -12 dB, -14 dB, -16 dB and RIAA
The Rumble Filter includes the following settings:
20 Hz, 40 Hz, 70 Hz, 110 Hz
The HF Filter is infinitely variable between 5000 Hz to 24 kHz
The input also has a PAD (rear panel) of 0 or -20 dB
